Everyone in the community is invited to the Palisades-Malibu YMCA’s annual Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, October 13, noon to 2 p.m, at the Y’s Simon Meadow, corner of Sunset and Temescal Canyon Road.
Games and fun, along with seasonal snacks and crafts, will be provided free of charge (please note that parking is $7 in Temescal Gateway Park).
Also on Sunday, hand-blown glass pumpkins will be on sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday, October 13 at Simon Meadow.
These pumpkins, in a variety of jewel-toned colors and sizes, were created by glass-blowing students from Santa Monica College. Proceeds will benefit local artists of the Santa Monica College Art Department and the local YMCA.
The Y’s popular Pumpkin Patch is open on Simon Meadow every day this month: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 2:30 to 6 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
