The Los Angeles Police Department West LA Area Crime & Community Intelligence Center issued a community alert notification on Monday, May 22, following a hot prowl burglary in Pacific Palisades that took place on the 800 block of Toyopa Drive.
“Suspects one and two entered residence from backyard through unlocked door,” the alert described. “Suspects took victim’s property and fled through point of entry.”
Suspect one was described in the alert as male with a thin build, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a gray hoodie, black face mask, black gloves, black pants, black shoes and a Star Wars “Grogu” backpack.
Suspect two was a male with thin build, 20 to 30 years old, wearing a black “Unknown Future” hoodie, black face mask, black gloves with skeleton hands, black pants and white shoes.
“The suspects entered a white Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with stolen license plate and fled to an unknown location,” the alert continued. “The homeowners’ children were home at the time, and the daughter interrupted the suspects as she walked down to the first floor to retrieve a delivery.”
Another home in the Rancho Park area was burglarized by “two suspects observed wearing the same clothing.”

“The investigation is still ongoing with our detectives for both burglary incidents,” LAPD Senior Lead Officer for Pacific Palisades Brian Espin wrote in an email.
