Coming soon to the Getty Villa: four free lectures, ranging from “When the Inevitable Happens … Again: Protecting Museum Collections from Earthquake Damage” on Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. to “Making Athens Great (Again?): Modern Lessons from the Age of Pericles” on Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Speakers include an expert conservator of antiquities, a Roman archeologist, a historian specializing in Ancient Greek history and an internationally best-selling author. Attendance is free and open to the public for these events, which will take place Oct. 7 through Nov. 6.
