Keys
Now that Norris Hardware has closed, where does one go to have keys duplicated?
(Editor’s note: Fisher Hardware—less than three miles from The Village—offers key duplication services. There are also KeyMe kiosks located in grocery/convenience stores across the Westside.)
Suggestion
A suggestion for Mr. Caruso: If the final color of the Palisades Village is to be a stark white, some of the people passing your project may become snow blind. To maintain color continuity along Sunset, you might consider painting the buildings (facing Sunset) the same color orange as the building across from your project or at least an earth tone.
Arrest
Isn’t it ironic that Mike Bonin gets arrested for a self-serving political stunt instead of his actual crime of stealing money from the Palisades and using it in Venice? Typical Bonin, instead of doing something to actually help immigrants, he’d rather steal the spotlight from them with cheap words and photos of getting arrested. His moral high ground is the equivalent of a ditch!
News
Everybody complaining that the Palisades News has disappeared are the same people complaining that the Post costs money. You want news? Pay up!
99 Cents
I really hope the old Norris building gets turned into a 99 Cent store so we can have at least one place for normal people.
Sandwiches
Perhaps Mr. Caruso could consider adding an affordable, quick and easy sandwich shop to his development; something in the style of a Jersey Mike’s, or even reminiscent of The Great Outdoors Sub Shop in Texas. We can’t all afford the artisan sandwiches that have taken over Los Angeles at rapid speed.
Contest
I love the Post’s summer giveaway series! I have entered each week and keep my fingers crossed that I will win.
