Fiji-Gate
Last week’s writers criticizing the critic of the Fiji island photo completely missed the point. The critic wasn’t attacking the Clarks, or urging Palisadians to refrain from supporting the Fijian economy, but simply pointing out that submitting a photograph to the Pali-Post of a dozen Palisadian families on a private, rented Fijian island is the very definition of ostentatious, and not a good look in the era of Trump and global warming. To those readers who don’t see any problem with this, I wish them good luck when the revolution comes.
Trolling
I wonder if the submission by Elle Feldman “Tell Me In Your Words” was legitimate or rather just someone trolling in order to create a controversy for the newspaper and its readers.
Weeds
It’s about time the “Gingerbread House” got the weeds whacked. What about all the other “trash” from papers, cups, plastic bags, etc.? I never see anyone throwing out trash from cars, yet our Palisades is a mess, and the weeds in the gutters are really ugly. Can’t everyone try to keep our wonderful town clean?
Cars
To the young mom in her brand new Range Rover who left her two kids under the age of three in her car alone while she went to pickup up her food: Unacceptable, you should know better … that is illegal!
Gas Prices
Why is gas so expensive at both gas stations at Sunset Blvd and Via De La Paz? There must be a reason. All over the city gas is $1.10 to $1.60 a gallon cheaper.
Cat
I hope the cat that was stuck in a tree on Via De La Paz is home safe. It takes a village, but it’s hard to believe it took close to 7 hours to find a ladder tall enough to reach the poor thing.
Fourth
Interesting July 4th coverage. Except for the sports events very red, WHITE and blue.
