Digital Legacy
Who cares about ownership of your Facebook posts when you die? The private keys to your Bitcoins are the most important and tricky digital asset to securely pass on to your survivors.
Chirp
Bird scooters are motor vehicles. They require a user to be 18 or older, licensed and wearing a helmet. I frequently have seen local 14- to 15-year-old boys riding them in the Palisades in defiance of all those rules. The parent who lets them use their account for the rental would be liable for any injuries and possibly guilty of child endangerment. It’s no different than giving them the keys to your car and saying “drive around and have fun.” Wake up and care for their safety.
Parking
I completely agree with “Preferred Parking” 2 Cent submission last week. Palisadians should get preferred parking through some identifying sticker at the new Caruso shopping center. With this identification, we can at least have something beneficial provided to us for all the sacrifices we have made living through the building process and putting up with what will be an enormous increase in traffic in our town.
Affordable
Is there going to be anything affordable at Carusoville? From the restaurants, grocery store, movie theater and now a retail store where a T-shirt STARTS at $65, there doesn’t appear to be anything for those not in the 1% of the 1% in the Palisades.
Sweet Treat
I love your contest!
