In last month’s Real Estate News & Views section, the Palisadian-Post published a chart showing the top local realtors based on sales volume. But this isn’t the only way to assess success in the real estate industry.
In fact, there are numerous ways to gauge rankings.
One measure is the number of sales done in a year (most commonly adding listings and buyers). Others include the highest-priced home sold, the shortest average time on market and the highest ratio of sale price to list price.
Yet another is based on the number of clients a real estate agent has served, including leases.
Here is a chart based on total clients served by local realtors, which shows Michael Edlen of Coldwell Banker in the top spot.
