Attendance was down at Palisades Charter High School on Tuesday, Sept. 12, after administration received an anonymous tip that a student threatened to “shoot up the school.”
In an email to parents, Pali High explained that they “immediately interrogated the student” and coordinated with LAPD to determine that it was not a “serious threat.” Reports indicated the student had been recently suspended or expelled.
Classes proceeded as normal, though the school ensured that extra LAPD patrols were present on campus as detectives continued to investigate.
