It was cool in the pool Monday at Maggie Gilbert Aquatic Center, where Palisades High hosted the Western League swim finals.
The Dolphins dominated the meet, winning by over 100 points in all four divisions, as they taper for the City finals next Friday.
Palisades’ varsity girls 200-yard medley relay of Amanda Kim, Quincy Timmerman, Dora Seggelke and Nathalia Wyss won in 1:57.80, Seggelke won both the 200 individual medley (2:14.31) and 100 butterfly (59.16), Wyss won the 500 freestyle in 5:37.88, Meredith Haaker won the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.86 and Seggelke teamed with Sydney Brouwer, Kim and Darby Green to take first place in the 400 freestyle relay in 3:54.63.
Leading the varsity boys was senior Roy Yoo, who won the 50 freestyle (22.11) and 100 freestyle (49.86) and anchored the winning 200 freestyle (1:32.56) and 400 freestyle (3:25.38) relays.
The 200 medley relay of Marc Pryor, JJ Chang, William Cho and Lucas Lacy won in 1:44.81, Andrew Planting won the 200 freestyle in 1:50.68, Orion Vayanas won the 200 individual medley in 2:03.41, Cho won the 100 butterfly (54.43) and 100 breaststroke (1:02.48) and Chris Pedersen won the 500 freestyle in 5:05.15.
Pali High junior Alexis Kleshik won the varsity girls’ 1-meter diving competition with 434.80 points and sophomore Andrei Kozeluh won the varsity boys competition with a score of 324.50.
