LeBron James’s fantastic life story has inspired millions all over the world. Born in Akron, Ohio, on December 30, 1984, LeBron Raymone James was able to keep up with his mom’s moves and was able to make a huge impact later in life as an NBA MVP. Despite very hard changes in his lifetime and few possessions at first, LeBron James became a huge impact and made those little possibilities into huge possibilities.
LeBron James always had bad obstacles constantly in his life. “LeBron had to always move around because of his mother being poor and having bad problems. He had to move schools so many times that he wouldn’t finish at least one school year” (Ganguli 7). This made it very tough in life especially without a dad, but he was always a happy kid at school and very nice to friends. “James and his mother lived with his grandmother until she passed away because of a heart attack at the age of 42” (Ganguli 7). “When LeBron James moved into apartments in Spring Hill, he got his first ever own room” (Ganguli 7). LeBron and his mother moved so many times that he missed more than 80 days of school.
But him moving around a lot made him realize what life could be for others and more. LeBron went to St. Vincent- St. Mary High School and very much liked it, and he later donated $2.5 million to the school. This donation had a huge impact on a fourth grader there who missed more than 50 days at school because she would rather sleep than get bullied. “LeBron made this school,” the fourth grader said. “You can always depend on someone.” Now she has 80 percent attendance because of him.
LeBron James has inspired so many other people as well, especially in his basketball career. LeBron is a very talented and strong person at the game of basketball. LeBron has won three NBA finals and has lost six of them which isn’t that bad at all. LeBron inspired many to get better at the game of basketball, and he improved a lot over the past years making more and more people be amazed by his skills. LeBron is dominating the league while getting older and older. “LeBron is very special in his lifetime and he took those early life situations and put hard work into his future and is now top 2 in NBA history” (Ganguli 7).
