As part of an ongoing effort to assist with the needs of those in the greater Los Angeles community, the Palisadian-Post is extending an opportunity for our community to participate in the 1st Annual Giving For Thanksgiving campaign supporting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
Giving for Thanksgiving is made up of our community, including businesses, schools, local organizations and residents joining together during this time of thanks to see that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles.
Our goal is for those less fortunate to experience the caring generosity of the Palisades community by providing items needed for meals every night, not just for Thanksgiving.
Collection of nonperishable food items begins November 1 and continues through November 21.
Collection boxes can be found at the Palisadian-Post and Fire Station #69 and additional community partner locations.
Help us meet our “800-Pound Pledge” by donating much-needed food items, including: canned protein, such as tuna, sardines, stews and soups peanut butter & jelly canned fruits & vegetables fruit juices staples, such as beans, rice and pasta
