Los Angeles Police Department personnel are responding to another possible “swatting” call in the 750 block of Toyopa Drive.
The incident was reported at 7:55 p.m. tonight. An LAPD helicopter searched the perimeter of Palisades Recreation Center. Palisadian-Post sources said that someone called LAPD to report a gunshot and that the caller heard “someone screaming.” “Swatting” is the act of calling police to report a fake emergency, such as a shooting. The last hoax of this type in the Palisades targeted Rihanna’s home on Rivas Canyon Road on April 4.
Police are currently investigating the incident. The Post will update this post when more information becomes available.
