Palisades Elementary’s annual Yee Haw Day Fair will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. this Saturday, October 19 on the school campus, 800 Via de la Paz. The entire community is welcome and admission is free.
The fair will include special toddler activities as well as kid favorites such as full-sized go-karts, slot cars, giant inflatables, face painting, airbrush tattoos and a boot stomping array of games with a giant prize booth. New this year is an inflatable mechanical bull.
The festivities will also include a DJ, a Cake Walk, a 2 p.m. performance by Fancy Feet dancers and two gourmet food trucks: Slammin’ Sliders and Smokin’ Willie’s BBQ. Sweet treats include Frozen Crush shaved ice and Fry Girl mini doughnuts.
Raffle tickets will be available for $5, and prizes include Clippers tickets plus Ball-Boy or Ball-Girl honors for a Clippers game, and a 16GB iPad.
Yee Haw Day benefits Palisades Enrichment Programs (PEP), including support for the acclaimed Pali Elementary teaching staff and a wide range of programs, including art, music, science and technology.
