As the regular season winds down the Palisades High girls water polo team will use its last two Western League games to sharpen up for the playoffs.
The Dolphins were in top form Monday against archrival Venice, scoring nine goals in the first quarter and building a 15-2 halftime lead en route to a 21-3 win. Leighanne Estabrook, Sydney Brouwer, Elyana Goren and Maxine Eschger each scored four goals, Kavita Sekhon had two and Alex Levy, Addie Saab and Bianca Cherry each had one. Sophie Levy made three saves.
Palisades played San Pedro yesterday and travels to Banning on Monday afternoon before hosting University in its regular season finale next Wednesday.
