The Palisades High boys varsity and JV water polo teams travel to Orange County today and tomorrow for the Hank Vellekamp Tournament at Servite and Esperanza high schools in Anaheim.
All games consist of seven-minute quarters. Sudden death overtime will be used in the event of a tie. Other schools in the two-day event are Mira Costa, Ayala, Huntington Beach, Vista Murrieta and Ocean View.
Palisades is coming off a pair of easy league victories this week. Eight players scored in the varsity’s 13-5 league win against Venice on Monday, then goalie Blake Levine had seven saves and Lucas Silva had six goals in Thursday’s 15-9 victory over San Pedro.
