The fall season is set for the Palisades High football team. The only question is whether the revised schedule will start on time in January or be pushed back further on the calendar due to COVID-19.
Palisades is set to kick off the season at home January 8 at 7 versus San Fernando. The following Friday is the Dolphins’ annual Charter Bowl with Granada Hills, also at Stadium by the Sea.
In Week 3, Palisades is on the road at Reseda and the following week it travels for its intersectional battle with Brentwood in the third annual Sunset Showdown. Palisades wraps up nonleague action at home against Cleveland.
Western League play opens at Venice on Feb. 12, followed by a home game with University and a Friday afternoon road contest at Hamilton. In Week 9, the Dolphins host Fairfax and the regular season finale is March 12 at Westchester. Tentative playoff dates are March 19, March 26 and April 2 and City Finals are April 9-10.
Palisades went 5-0 to win the league title outright last year and lost to Banning in the quarterfinals of the City Open Division to finish 9-2.
