Palisadian Jason Silletti, vice chair of the board of trustees at the Orthopaedic Institute for Children, has been appointed co-chair of the organization’s $20 million capital campaign “2020: A Vision for Our Future.” OIC, which receives nearly 70,000 patient visits each year, focuses solely on musculoskeletal conditions in children.

On Sept. 15, volunteers with the YMCA Of Palisades-Malibu participated in the National Y Clean-up Day. The group partnered with SMRCA to clear an area in Temescal Gateway Park to be made into a picnic area for the community and hikers.
