Palisadian and Brentwood School alum Adam Blau recently graduated from Bates College as a member of the College Key, an honor given to students who have exhibited outstanding character, academic excellence, campus and community service, leadership and future promise.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. Crayon Collection, which was started by Palisadian Sheila Morovati, will attempt to set an official Guinness World Record title for most crayons donated to charity. The group will meet at Westfield Culver City in the Center Court.
Optimist Club guest speaker Dave Kemper shared a “great story of beating brain cancer by being an eternal optimist,” the club shared. During his talk, Kemper shared slides of his brain scan before going through a year of treatment.
