David, who is the son of nine-time Oscar-winning composer Alfred Newman, grew up in Rustic Canyon alongside siblings, Thomas Newman and Maria Newman, and cousin, Randy Newman.
In his 30-year career, David has scored more than 110 films, ranging from “Throw Mama from the Train,” “Matilda,” “Bowfinger” and “Heathers,” to award-winning animated films such as “Ice Age,” “The Brave Little Toaster” and “Anastasia.”
