Stu Kaiser, a Pacific Palisades Optimist Club and Optimist Foundation mentor, was one of two honorees during the Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services’ 2017 Mentor Awards Gala on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
Kaiser, a long time Optimist Club member and President emeritus, was lauded for his deep commitment to the nonprofit’s mission to treat and educate at-risk youth.
“The gala is an opportunity to extend our great appreciation to these incredible people for the generous support they’ve shown over the years,” Silvio John Orlando, chief executive officer of OYHFS, said during the ceremony. “It would be impossible for us to have accomplished all we have without the time and resources they’ve contributed.”
