Los Angeles Unified School District confirmed on Friday, March 13, that all public schools would be closed effective Monday, March 16.
“We are taking this step to keep our school communities safe,” LAUSD shared in a statement. “Effective Monday, March 16, we will close all Los Angeles Unified public schools for two weeks while we evaluate the appropriate path forward.”
Additional school closures in the Palisades include Le Lycée Français De Los Angeles Pacific Palisades Campus, Seven Arrows, Westside Waldorf School, Calvary Christian School, Village School and St. Matthew’s Parish School, which are all beginning online instruction next week.
