The 30th Annual Pacific Palisades Home Tour hosted by the Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club (PPWC) will be held on Sunday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The tour will highlight four Palisades homes that have varying architectural and interior design styles.
One home that attendees will be able to see is known as “Villa Aurora” and was designed after a Spanish castle. The villa is a historic landmark and the original owner’s 22,000-volume library is still housed there.
Another home has been titled “Traditional Christmas.” The five-bedroom, four-bathroom house boasts a view of the canyon from every room. The home is furnished with genuine antiques and family heirlooms, adding to the central design of the home to create a family atmosphere.
Next there is “Modern Magic,” a home full of color and whimsy. Throughout the home there are pops of blues and a range of bright colors highlighting the modern design. Large uncovered windows also showcase the outdoors as a key element in the home’s design.
Finally, there is the “Exotic Retreat,” which features a large art collection and cultural mementos from around the world. Most of the architecture and interior design of the home was designed by the owners, exemplifying their experiences and history.
Tickets are $55 before Nov. 21 and $60 on the day of the tour. All proceeds from the event will benefit the PPWC. Parking will be available without charge at Palisades Charter High School and a shuttle service will escort attendees along the tour.
