Malian kora player Ballaké Sissoko and French cellist Vincent Ségal will perform together at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 at the Skirball Cultural Center in the Sepulveda Pass.
This-chamber music project is a groundbreaking collaboration between two like-minded virtuosos working in unison. The kora is a 21-string bridge-harp used extensively in West Africa. The musicians are renowned for their intimate and lyrical compositions that create an atmosphere of peace and calm.
