Part of this year’s amended Fourth of July festivities was the Kids on Bikes Contest, hosted by the yogurt shoppe. Those with decorated bikes and scooters were invited to send in photos or swing by the shoppe to take socially distant photos to participate in the 2020 contest.
Toward the end of 2019, the yogurt shoppe changed ownership, and new owners Christine and Adam Wolfson shared with the Palisadian-Post that they were thrilled to continue this tradition. Adam added that though the shoppe has undergone a few changes, the sponsorship of the contest will remain consistent.
“Something that’s important to us is health, fitness and wellness,” Adam explained ahead of the contest. “That’s why we like the yogurt shoppe, because we don’t really use a lot of ingredients in our yogurt … and the thing about Kids on Bikes, which we talked to Kevin about, is that we want to keep a lot of traditions going and bikes and [being] healthy relate to each other.”
The yogurt shoppe shared a selection of this year’s entries, with prize winners taking home gift cards to the shoppe.
