Literary enthusiasts are invited to gather in the Palisades Branch Library parking lot on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the annual book sale.
Hosted by Friends of the Library, this event offers an “eclectic collection of contemporary fiction and non-fiction books in excellent condition at bargain prices.”
Whether you’re on the prowl for an adventurous or challenging children’s tale, hearty cookbook, coffee table delight, or a powerful novel, there is something for everyone—just in time for holiday gift giving.
Friends of the Library has been in operation for 50 years, regularly holding activities, author series, creative writing contests, book groups, film screenings and storybook readings, all designed to bring the community together.
Book sales are held several times a year, with proceeds distributed back into the library to supplement its rigorous programming.
