The Palisadian-Post and Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce presents The 56th Annual Mr. & Miss Palisades Teen Contest.
Every year many teens between 14-18 apply and 5 male and 5 female finalists are selected to compete based on academics, volunteer work and community spirit. On March 26, 2015 in Pali High’s own Gilbert Hall, 1 male and 1 female go on to win the title of Mr. & Miss Palisades. The winners will receive a $2,000 cash award/scholarship as well as free food for the year at Palisades Garden CafĂ©. The winners also receive a full editorial piece in the Palisadian-Post and recognition among the community and their peers for their accolades. Upon winning, Mr. & Miss Palisades go on to represent our community at our 4th of July Parade as well as other prominent community functions.
We would love if you could help spread the word. This year we are breathing new life into the event and calling all teens to show their community spirit. We have dropped the strict guidelines and focused on the accomplishments of these young teens in our community.
We are looking for Leaders. Creators. Artists. Inventors. Volunteers. We are out to find the best and brightest and need your help in encouraging those you know who are a perfect fit to apply and support those who are involved. Mr. & Miss Palisades is designed to motivate our teens, recognize the role they play in our society, promote unity in our community, assist in gaining self confidence, and provide an unforgettable experience of being part of this memorable event. There is nothing to lose and so much to gain!
It takes a village, and with your help we want to bring back the community spirit and involvement that once flourished and thrived in this beautiful community!
