Less than 24 hours before tip-off the Palisades High varsity girls basketbal team had no opponent for Saturday’s Senior Night game.

First-year head coach Adam Levine called and texted until the wee hours of the morning until Stern coach Andy Cortez agreed to send his valiant Titans.

In a pregame ceremony Pali High seniors Mercy Motngomery, Brooke Messaye and Chaya Brennan got praised by their teammates and were given framed jerseys for their commitment to the program.

When the game started it was all Dolphins, who won 53-27 one day after avenging a 26-point loss to Hamilton with a 61-58 victory that kept them in contention for the Western League title.
