At tonight’s Pacific Palisades Community Council meeting, the public can hear a status report on the Santa Monica Bay Low-Flow Diversion Project, funded by the Prop. O clean-water bond.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Palisades Branch Library community room.
Project Manager Andy Flores will speak about Phase 2 of the project, which will require temporary lane closures on Pacific Coast Highway from south of Entrada Drive to the Annenberg Beach House. The 12-month construction project is expected to start sometime this fall.
Tonight’s agenda also includes a discussion with concerned residents about the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus detour through the Marquez neighborhood, and an update on the DWP’s citizen task force, which has been exploring potential sites for the proposed power-distribution station in west Pacific Palisades.
