Pacific Palisades Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is vying against 34 Southern California offices to see who can collect the most food and monetary donations for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
The first annual month-long food drive hosted by NorthStar Moving Company, the leading eco-luxury mover in California, and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, kicked off July 19 and will conclude August 19.
The donations will help feed the one-in-four children in Los Angeles County and one-in-five children in Orange County that are at risk of going to bed hungry. Donations are now being accepted at the Pacific Palisades Coldwell Banker office at 15101 Sunset Boulevard.
“Many people don’t realize that hungry children are dependent on their school lunches which could be their only meal of the day, so the need for food donations is even more urgent in the summer,” said NorthStar Moving Co-Founder Laura McHolm. “We are pleased to partner with Coldwell Banker to bring awareness to this critical need and raise as much food and money as we can through our friendly competition. But it’s not just up to Coldwell Banker. By donating even one food item to your local Coldwell Banker office, you will be helping feed a hungry child.”
Founded in 1994, Los Angeles-based NorthStar Moving Company will pick up and transport all of the donated items to the food bank. When the total donations are in, NorthStar Moving will buy lunch for the offices in each county who donate the most food and the most money. Call (800) 275-7767 or Visit: NorthStarMoving.com.
