The Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Community Expo on Sunday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Antioch Street, between Swarthmore and Via de la Paz. This family-friendly event will feature booths promoting health, environment, education, financial, camps, home and garden, travel, technology and community organizations. Another highlight will be the Classic Auto Display on Via de la Paz, with Stokes Tire Pros in Santa Monica as the gold sponsor and Palisades Pit Stop Detail as the silver sponsor. The classic cars will feature a rare 1957 Dual Ghia (originally owned by singer Vic Damone) along with Woodie Wagons, T-Birds, a 1937 Plymouth Coupe drag racer, a 1962 restored Jeep Fleet Van, a 1963 Studebaker, a 1967 two-seater Jaguar, a 1967 Austin-Healey, a 1965 Ford Mustang, and a custom-built Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Music will be provided by the Amazing Music band (under the direction of Patrick Hildebrand) and multi-entertainer Michael Cladis (sponsored by Riviera Masonic Lodge 780). Gerry Blanck’s Martial Arts Center will give a demonstration at 11:30 a.m. The Community Expo committee is chaired by Joyce Brunelle (Suntricity), with Zara Guivi (Oppenheimer & Company) as co-chair and Roberta Donohue (Palisadian-Post and Post Printing) as chair of the Auto Show committee.
