With three years of experience as a reporter with the Palisadian-Post, Lily Tinoco has taken on the role of assistant editor for the paper.
Tinoco began working at the Post in November 2019. Her accomplishments include helping the publication navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, assuming the role of acting editor-in-chief while Sarah Shmerling was on maternity leave and so much more.
“Being a part of the Palisadian-Post team and immersing myself into the community has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my journalistic career to date,” Tinoco shared. “It is an honor to take on the role as assistant editor—I look forward to continuing to work closely with our amazing team, leading our interns, meeting more Palisadians and unearthing more stories. I look forward to everything to come and a bright future ahead!”
Her range of coverage is wide, extending to both news and lifestyle, including Pacific Palisades Design Review Board, local events, community and business profiles, and beyond.
The Post thanks Tinoco for all her hard work over the years and looks forward to watching her grow in her newest role. She can be reached at lily@palipost.com.
