Calvary Christian School kicked off its academic year on Tuesday, Sept. 4, welcoming back more than 400 students to a campus that recently renovated the fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms as well as school offices.
The Highlands-based school, home to students from pre-school through eighth grade, welcomed two new teachers this year: middle school Spanish teacher Amanda House and fifth-grade teacher Cristina Garcia.
