William Coquillard had a memorable day on April 23, driving in 10 runs in for the Bronco Orioles in a Pacific Palisades Baseball Association Game.
In a 14-2 rout of the Tigers, Coquillard, an 11-year-old first baseman, catcher and pitcher, tallied 10 RBI, drilling a pair of three-run home runs sandwiched around a three-run triple. Coquillard went deep in the first, tripled in the second, then hit his second homer in the fourth. A run-scoring ground out in the sixth put him in double figures.
Coquillard rounded out his impressive game by pitching three strong innings, allowing just one run while striking out three. The Orioles are 13-3 on the season, and Coquillard has been a big part of that, hitting over .600 with six home runs.
