For league play, coaches, assistant coaches, referees, team managers, sponsors, board members Referees, Ast. Coaches, Team Managers, Sponsors, Board Members, field set up /take down personne, Picture Day Parents and Kid Zone Team Ambassadors are needed.
Along with its league teams, Region 69 offers Playground, Co-Ed Intramurals and VIP programs, all of which require fewer volunteers, but sponsorships are always welcome and appreciated.
Playground is an eight-week co-ed program beginning the week of September 25 and ending November 17. Children will attend a one- hour session each week with a parent and will have the option to participate at a Brentwood or Palisades location if enough players sign up.
The Co-Ed Intramural Program is for high school age players. They may also participate on a league team. Each player will be issued a reversible tank top to be used each year. Players will manage themselves with adult oversight.
The program will run from Sept. 24 through Nov. 19 (option to play in the spring) from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Palisades High football field.
The VIP (Very Important Player) is a program for children with special needs, either physically or developmentally challenged. Volunteer Buddies are needed to pair up with VIP players each Saturday between 9 and 11:15 a.m. at Calvary Christian School in the fall and spring.
