A junior striker on the Princeton University women’s soccer team, Courtney was the Tigers’ leading scorer for the spring season (March 30-April 19), netting three of the team’s eight goals at center forward. Princeton edged 2018 NCAA quarterfinalist Penn State 1-0, beat Temple 3-0 and beat Drexel 4-0. Over spring break in March the team toured Europe and played against professional teams in Germany and Holland. Courtney was named to the All-Ivy League team in 2017 and 2018 and was an Academic All-Ivy Leaguer in 2017. She will be a senior next in 2019-20. Princeton is the reigning Ivy League champion and made it to the Elite Eight in 2017. A lifelong Palisadian who grew up in Pacific View Estates, Courtney graduated from Harvard-Westlake High in 2015 as the school’s all-time leading scorer in soccer (63 goals, 31 assists), leading the Wolverines to four consecutive Mission League titles. A two-time L.A. Daily News Player of the Year, she played club soccer at Real So Cal and was the leading scorer in Southern California in the U16 age division. She recovered from ACL surgery between her high school and college careers and has made the Palisadian-Post’s Athletes of the Year list multiple times.
