Having earned two straight LA City Section basketball championships and back-to-back All-City honors, Palisades High junior Sammie Arnold has been invited in 2021 to try out for the U18 Israeli National Team.
Arnold’s 3-point accuracy helped the Dolphins win the City Division I crown in 2018-19 and the Open Division title this year (along with her freshman sisters Taylor and Elise). All three sisters (along with Pali High teammate Sofia Canter) helped their L.A. Westside squad win the gold medal at the U.S. Maccabi Games in Atlanta last summer.
Sammie has a 4.1 grade point average, has made the All-Western League First Team twice and is a two-time Cal-Hi Sports All-State pick. Older brother Caden just helped Palisades’ boys team win the City Division I title.
