The exciting time has finally come: Rick Caruso’s Palisades Village will reveal itself on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Among the highly anticipated tenants is Cinépolis Luxury Cinema—a revised version of the historic Bay Theatre that existed in Pacific Palisades from 1948 to 1978. Unsurprisingly, this addition to the shopping complex has generated plenty of buzz in our community of arts and culture enthusiasts.
According to Chris Royal from Murphy O’Brien Public Relations, the theater itself will open for business in “mid-October,” and flyers will be distributed, detailing a sneak peek of what’s to come, at the grand opening party on the 22nd.
“Our mission is to create an upscale, family-oriented environment to indulge our guests in an intimate, comfortable and friendly atmosphere,” the website states.
Guests can look forward to experiencing an elevated food and beverage service with the ability to order directly from their reclining leather seat, state-of-the-art projection and reserved seating to complement the robust program of the latest in quality mainstream entertainment.
Cinépolis exists in many states across the U.S., and the concept—which emphasizes luxury and comfort—has proven successful among moviegoers of every variety.
This is not the first Caruso project to feature a Cinépolis theater: The Promenade at Westlake opened its Cinépolis nearly six years ago to the date on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.
