Talent filled the room of Fancy Feet Dance Studio as Dana Greene’s session two campers sang their hearts out in a performance on Friday, Aug. 10.
In the show, titled “A Million Dreams,” 16 children aged 7 to 12 performed a song of their choice, along with two songs involving the whole cast.
The showcase opened with a few words by Percy Renaud expressing her excitement, especially because she was turning 7 years old.
“Sit back, relax and enjoy the show,” she told the audience.
The cast opened the show with “A Million Dreams,” followed by “Escape My Mind,” by Emma Harris, 6.
Greene told the parents that Emma was a bit nervous to do the camp at first, but ended up singing a powerful song with a great performance.
“I wish I could not think for once in my life,” she sang to the crowd.
Each camper followed with a solo song, accompanied by Greene on the piano. After Tess Hubbard sang the last solo song, “You’re the Top,” the cast closed with a performance of “Man in The Mirror” by Michael Jackson.
Parents in the audience looked on as the show concluded, making sure to take many pictures of the moment, before campers went on to indulge in snacks and drinks.
