Marguerite Dao Vuong, who recently retired after 29 years at the Pacific Palisades Post Office, and her husband Michael appeared before Hon. Jay Ford III at the Airport Courthouse on Wednesday, Aug. 20. The judge set a preliminary hearing date of Monday, Sept. 22.
The Vuongs stand accused of the December 2013 hit-and-run on Chautauqua Boulevard that killed Palisadian David Pregerson. Ford granted a request by the attorneys representing the Vuongs to allow the couple to share the same interpreter for the hearing.
