Several Palisadians, riding for Balmoral Farm, were champions at the HITS Thermal Horse Show last week in the Coachella Valley.
Kaitlyn Van Konynenburg was champion in the Large Junior Hunters 16-17 Division on her horse “Wish List” and was reserve champion in the Small Junior Hunters 16-17 Division with “Now How Z.”

Maci Anderson and her pony “Merlin the Magnificent” got ribbons over fences in the Children’s Pony Hunters Division, Emily Beutner was champion in the Beginner Division aboard her horse “Toby,” and Sadie Anderson (with “Social Butterfly”) and Savannah Strome (riding “Little Rascal”) were winners of the Walk-Trot and X-Rails divisions, respectively.
